Clear terms for a better next step.
These terms describe the intended use of CVPilot AI. The operator must complete the legal entity, jurisdiction, payment/refund policy and consumer disclosures, and obtain local legal review before public launch.
1. The service and operator
RESUME UAI provides tools for creating and editing resumes, career profiles, cover letters, application materials, job-search records, interview preparation and PDF documents. The operator's full legal name, address and governing jurisdiction must be published here before launch. Support contact: mpadagannavar@gmail.com
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential, providing accurate account details and reviewing activity in your account. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload or process any resume, job description, image or other material. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, impersonation, harassment, malware, unauthorized access or infringement of another person's rights.
3. AI-generated content and ATS estimates
AI suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased or out of date. You must verify every employer, date, qualification, skill, achievement, metric, screening response and other factual claim before using it. CVPilot compatibility/ATS estimates are heuristic guidance based on available text and job-description terms; they are not scores from an employer's ATS and do not guarantee parsing, an interview, employment or any hiring outcome. CVPilot does not submit job applications on your behalf unless a separate feature explicitly says so.
4. Plans, payment and renewal
Plan prices, currency, included features and usage limits are shown at checkout. Payment is confirmed server-side by the selected provider. In this release, Razorpay and PayPal purchases provide 30 days of access after successful confirmation and do not automatically renew. Stripe checkout is a monthly recurring subscription. Eligible Stripe customers can cancel future renewal from the Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the provider confirms otherwise. Access is updated after the payment provider's verified payment or refund confirmation. This release synchronizes supported payment/refund notifications; it does not automatically adjudicate card disputes or chargebacks. The operator must monitor the merchant dashboard, review disputes promptly and update access manually where required by the provider outcome and applicable law.
5. Taxes, refunds and statutory rights
Taxes and payment-method availability depend on the provider, merchant account and customer location. The operator must publish the applicable tax treatment, refund/cancellation policy, chargeback handling, statutory cooling-off/withdrawal rights and required pre-contract disclosures here. Nothing in these terms removes non-waivable rights under applicable consumer law. Refunds are initiated by the operator through the payment provider dashboard and reflected in CVPilot after supported provider confirmation. Partial refunds do not automatically remove paid access in this release; full refunds revoke the entitlement associated with that purchase. The operator must review disputes/chargebacks in the provider dashboard because automated dispute-event synchronization is not included.
6. Documents, ownership and sharing
You retain rights to content you provide. Subject to applicable third-party terms, you may use the output generated for your own applications. You are responsible for reviewing, exporting and protecting saved documents. Public resume-sharing links should only be enabled by the account owner and may be disabled from the account where supported.
7. Availability and third-party services
Features depend on hosting, AI, payment, email and document-processing providers. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to external provider failures. Third-party websites, job listings, APIs and checkout pages have their own terms and privacy practices; users should review them before use.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and without a promise of uninterrupted operation or a particular hiring outcome. The operator must add a jurisdiction-appropriate limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer and any mandatory exceptions after legal review. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Suspension, termination and changes
The operator may restrict access for security, abuse, non-payment, legal compliance or material breach. Users may stop using the service and delete their account using account settings. The operator must explain any records retained after account deletion where required by law. Material changes should be communicated and dated.
10. Governing law and disputes
Insert the applicable governing law, courts or dispute-resolution process, and any mandatory consumer complaint or regulator information after confirming the operator's jurisdiction and target markets.
Effective date: Set and publish the date these completed terms become effective.
